Privacy policy

Alfred — last updated 3 November 2026

Alfred is a private AI assistant used by one named individual. This policy describes what it does with data from the Google Account that authorises it.

What Alfred accesses

With the account owner's consent, Alfred requests these Google API scopes:

Alfred only accesses the account that granted consent. It does not access anyone else's account, and it has no other users.

How the data is used

Data is accessed only to carry out tasks the account owner asks for — for example creating a document, filing something in Drive, or checking the calendar. It is not used for any other purpose.

How the data is stored

Alfred runs on a private server controlled by the account owner. Google credentials are stored on that server, readable only by the account Alfred runs under. Document and calendar content is fetched when needed to perform a task and is not collected into a separate archive.

What is never done

Third-party processing

Alfred uses third-party AI language model providers to understand requests and produce replies. Content the owner asks Alfred to work on may be sent to those providers solely to carry out that request. Those providers are bound by their own terms and are not permitted to use the content for model training.

Retention and deletion

The account owner can revoke Alfred's access at any time at Google Account permissions. Revoking immediately ends all access. To have stored credentials and any locally held working data deleted, contact the address below and it will be removed.
